It all started, as many good ideas do, over dinner in Copenhagen.
From saving heritage to shaping the future of Italian living.

In early 2024, a group of Danes and Venetians – friends, collaborators, and kindred spirits – found themselves deep in conversation about Italy, architecture, and the way too many remarkable places are left to decay, just out of sight of the tourist trail. One of us had grown up in the Veneto and had seen this pattern first-hand: magnificent rural estates fading into memory as families shrank, cities pulled people away, and old houses grew too big, too broken, or too complex to save.
Tenuta Augusta is (re)born
A few months later, we found the right place to begin: Tenuta Augusta, a long-neglected farmstead in the Berici Hills. There, we put our philosophy to the test — restoring with integrity, investing with purpose, and creating something rooted in place but open to the world. We kept our focus on real ownership, sustainable land use, and a model that didn’t push out locals or gloss over the complexities of rural Italy.
As we worked, a simple realisation emerged: we weren’t alone. More and more people — particularly in Northern Europe — were looking for something meaningful in Italy. Not just a pretty place to visit, but a way to participate in its future.
That’s when we found Villa Lucchetta.

Our Approach
Italy has enough hotels, timeshares, and speculative development. We do restoration with purpose. We bring back to life places where real ownership meets worry-free enjoyment. Where the infrastructure, services, and care are in place – and you still get to hold the keys.
Whether you visit once a year or every season, the model is designed to offer flexibility, security, and a meaningful stake in something built to last.
